Yea...I love this song...Even though I'm not a lesbian, like Rihanna's friend in this story, I love it...And to all of you "children" who are tellin the story wrong, or don't understand what the story is about; it's about Rihanna's friends, I guess in this storyline, she went to a spanish speaking country and she makes friends with a spanish girl...and I guess they become close friends and the friend falls inlove with Rihanna...But Rihanna doesn't feel that way...Rihanna loves the friend but not romantically, she loves her as a friend, and nothing more...and with that being said, Rihanna has to abandon the friendship because she doesn't want to lead her friend on romantically...but yea, or Rihanna could've met a spanish speaking woman in the States...you never know...But other than that, I definitely think that there should be a black and white/grey and white w/e video for this and it should be like recorded in Cuba,Mexico,Puerto Rico etc., you know any of the spanish speakin countries...and the video should capture the story line...but in the begginin they should show how Rihanna and her friend met...like say, Rihanna drops her papers all over the floor on the streets and the friend helps her gather her stuff that's scattered all over the floor...or another alternative for the video, Rihanna and her friend could run into eachother in a club...I don't know...but holla if you like my video idea...COPYRIGHT: OJ!!

i think she might be singing from the guys perspective in their relationship.
the "she" mentioned could be her, and this song is saying what he said to her, or what he thought of her.
