It was around this time last year 2011 that money Ooo Diva Macka Doh-shus Cow Foot track took off in the dancehall to later become a year long hit.  Now, the Dancehall hit maker who has proven time and time again that she has the goods, walk out with the xxx rated track "Deh Suh Nice" a counteraction to Potential Kid's hit song, 'A Yah Suh Nice.'

Sex talk lace Macka Diamond's, 'Deh Suh Nice' track,  out now on the Golden Rock Production Label.  The counteraction created quite a stir on its release in Potential Kid's camp, it was rumoured that the song was barred from playing in some 'Potential Kid' territories.  Well Macka who seem to get more competitive under pressure, decided to 'beat it beat it beat it' yup, with the support of team players Kevon Dixon and Iceman.

The result? "street creds tun up right now" said Ms. Money Ooo, "the song a mash up every whey.  Weddy, Weddy dun whey night and Nesbeth Bike Fest ova Big Buy Plaza in Portmore shell whey when Pink Panther drop it last Sunday night" she said.

Macka who 'want it in the bushes', wastes no time with the hype the song is getting, she has already shot a video directed by Robert Chin and Edited by Terminal 4 that is soon to be released.  She said "dem a run out now by the thousands and it woulda look like dem a do a whole heap a ting but when you look good everybody a follow Macka, at one point me see a video whey look like all dem change ina de treatment fi mek it different from my own, is the artiste. But me nah complain because me know me a leader plus dat good fi de business we need some fire now," who could this be?

Though Macka Diamond leaves the island shortly for London where she is expected to be for a few days, the 'Steam Fish,' 'Money O,' 'Bun Him,' 'Think Bout Mi,' 'Cow Foot,' hit maker is comfortable with the buzz on 'Deh Suh Nice' and looks to once again dominate summer for a second time in a row.

BUSY SIGNAL'S ANTICIPATED ALBUM REGGAE MUSIC AGAIN

RELEASED DIGITALLY AND IN STORES IN THE CARIBBEAN ON APRIL 10

Available In Stores on April 24 in United States  

Due to the overwhelming response from fans and industry alike, Busy Signal's benchmark album Reggae Music Again will be available digitally and in stores throughout the Caribbean on April 10. The U.S. in-store release date remains on April 24. This forthcoming album on VP Records shows the dancehall artist in a new light as he pays homage to his roots with a full set of traditional reggae songs.

Better known for his sharp-spitting rhymes on hardcore dancehall hits like "Tic Toc" (remixed by M.I.A. and Rye Rye) and "Wine Pon De Edge," Busy Signal emerges as a charismatic roots reggae artist. The intricate, multi-layered one-drop rhythms heard on Reggae Music Again werecreated by some of Jamaica's most acclaimed musicians (Kirk Bennette, Aeion Hoilette, Lamont Savory, Kevon Webster, Robbie Lyn and Dean Fraser), and recorded live at Kingston's legendary Tuff Gong studios.

Even though this is a stark departure from the sequenced beats that have dominated most of Busy's previous material, it is not the first time fans will embrace his singing. In 2011, Busy covered the classic country song "The Gambler," originally sung by Kenny Rogers for the Reggae's Gone Country compilation, and his ballad-like renditions of the 1985 Commodores' hit "Night Shift" and Phil Collin's "One More Night" off his last album D.O.B. were well-received and showed his versatility as an artist. All these songs were catalysts and motivation for his traditional approach heard on Reggae Music Again.

"Being a Jamaican, I feel like it is my duty to highlight and contribute to reggae music, and with the encouragement of my management and musicians who played on this record, it all came together," states Busy. "This album is like a renaissance for me, a rebirth - reggae style," he adds.

In addition to the full-length album, VP Records will release a vinyl companion piece, entitled REGGAE Music Dubb'n Again, available April 17, special for Record Store Day on April 21. The exclusive LP will feature extended dub mixes for six of the album's songs, which are all mixed and engineered by Shane Brown and his legendary father Errol Brown.

Costa Rica: The 2012 installment of "Carnival Puntarenas," the third of the three "major" festivals of the season in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, proved to be another spectacular affair for the more than 40,000 music lovers who converged for the beach side concert in the capital city to see Jamaican reggae star Ky-mani Marley set the day to music.

When the young Marley, son of reggae icon Bob Marley, hit the stage backed the band Konfrontation, excitement and pandemonium broke out in anticipation of the tasty musical treat that was to follow. Marley blazed the stage for well over 120 minutes, delivering a dynamic litany of songs, from his father's repertoire as well as some from his own catalogue. The multi talented singer proved his relevance with favourites like 'Iron Lion Zion,' 'Is This Love,' 'One Love,' 'Get up Stand Up,' 'No Woman No Cry,' 'I Shot the Sheriff' and originals like 'Who We Are,' 'Rasta Love,' 'Ska-Ba-Dar' and 'Dear Dad' - a song that pulls at the heartstrings of anybody who has lost a loved one.

Ky-mani's humble yet high-energy style of delivery demonstrated that it was really about the music and exceeding fans' expectations. He was inundated with requests for autographs and how he managed to sign them while performing is baffling. Pocketbooks and shirts were only a few of the articles patrons threw on stage for signatures.

Rising gospel act, Kereen Gregory, aka KG, is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to perform alongside one of her favourite female singers, Carlene Davis.

The two are among a set of gospel acts scheduled to thrill fans at a concert entitled Ash Wednesday Praise, scheduled for February 22 in Kitson Town, St Catherine.

KG, who declares that Carlene Davis has been an inspiration to her, also noted that she welcomed the opportunity to get up close with fans in that section of Jamaica.

"Minister Carlene Davis' story is such a wonderful one; how she moved from secular to gospel with such grace and I am particularly impressed with how Sister Carlene handled the testing of her faith in God when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has always been one of my heroes and it is a joy to share stage with such a powerful woman of God," KG said emotionally.

She added that it would be her first time performing in Kitson Town and, as such, "it will definitely be a night to remember".
